Prodesa is a non profit organization dedicated to helping children and their families, providing adoption facilitation, medical services, legal counsel, and job training. Headquartered in Guatemala City, Prodesa operates Un Mundo Nuevo, an orphanage that cares for children from birth to 5 years of age.

Prodesa also has a clinic which provides prenatal and medical services to birthmothers and children from the orphanage. In the coming months, Prodesa plans to expand into the town of Guanagazapa, offering medical and educational services to this poverty stricken rural area.
